Their story is intertwined with religious texts such as from the Torah (in Judaism), the Old Testament (in Christianity), and the Quran (in Islam). This course is a special one- especially in relation to the current state of affairs - its is imperative to comprehend the current realities through the lens of history. Studying Surah Isra, (also known as Surah Bani Israel,) and tracking back into the history of Bani Israel, and and then connecting it to the current circumstances- provides insights into the cultural, religious, and sociopolitical dynamics that continue to shape this community's identity and influence its interactions on a global scale.
