و رتل القران ترتيلا

..and recite the Quran with a measured Recital.. (73:4)

Tajweed linguistically means "Proficiency" or "doing something well" 

When we apply this to Quran, it means giving every letter its right and dues of characteristics when we recite the Quran.

The purpose of the science of Tajweed is to make the reciter well and able in Quranic recitation, observing correct pronunciation of every letter with the rulings and characteristics  which apply to it- without any exaggeration or deficiency.


About the teacher

Zareena Ibrahim

Ustadah Zareena is a hafidah and completed her memorisation in 2014 under Noble teacher of Quran and Tajweed in Dubai- UAE.

She completed  Quran Intensive Course from Al Misbaah in 2015 and started to teach Tajweed and Recitation there.

She received her Ijazah in Jazariyyah in 2018. She continues to teach Tajweed and Hifdh at various Marakaz in Dubai- UAE.
