Sabeen Qureshi is a senior chaplain, coach, and doctoral researcher specialising in holistic wellbeing, maternity mental health, and spiritually integrated care.

With over 18 years of experience across healthcare, education, prisons, and rehabilitation, Sabeen brings depth, integrity, and a strong interpersonal presence to every space she enters. She is currently based at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, where she specialises in maternity mental health and whole-person care. Her work centres on creating safe, spiritually attuned spaces where patients, staff, and families feel heard, held, and honoured.

Sabeen is pursuing a Professional Doctorate (DProf) at Cambridge Theological Federation, working closely with theologians and interdisciplinary teams. Her research explores how classical Islamic traditions of holistic wellbeing can inform and enhance contemporary patient care—particularly in maternal health and perinatal services.

A forever student of Qur’anic studies, Sabeen has a deep love for its linguistic beauty and hermeneutics. Her theological understanding enables her to support women of all ages, backgrounds, and communities in navigating their lived experiences through the lens of the Qur’an—guiding them on a journey of self-awareness, spiritual progression, and resilience.

Trained in CBT, psychoanalytic practice, and Islamic psychology, Sabeen integrates diverse frameworks to support emotional healing, spiritual resilience, and embodied transformation. She is particularly drawn to supporting women navigating life transitions, trauma, loss, and spiritual disconnection.

As a coach and facilitator, Sabeen brings a gentle, reflective, and deeply grounded presence to her practice—known for her ability to balance stillness with strength, and listening with insight. She is committed to relational leadership, trauma-informed practice, and the integration of mind-body-soul awareness into frontline care.

Sabeen is passionate about faith-informed wellbeing, culturally sensitive care, and reclaiming the sacred within healthcare systems. Her work is deeply rooted in the Qur’anic tradition, and she advocates for care that honours both dignity and divine connection.

She lives in Solihull with her two sons and loves quiet mornings, slow thinking, and meaningful conversation.
